Springtime

I haven't blogged in nearly two weeks. I'm slow. Haha. Not a lot has happened in those two weeks. I lie. It was my birthday last week, I'm now at the the ripe ol' age of 21. I keep expecting to feel older with every birthday, but thankfully this hasn't happened. My mental age I think has reached its peak at the respectable age of six. Aha. I kid. Kinda. I ate my weight in pizza and cake. It was gooood. I will sshhhhh now and talk about the clothes.

Two things arrived in the post this week. I love opening parcels, its like opening presents. The first thing I got was a very lovely jumper sent from Sheinside. This jumper is the comfiest of my jumpers and is so soft. It was really hard choosing the jumper though. I knew you could get it in a few different colours, and debated with myself whether to get the pink one or this one. In the end this one won!

The second thing that came in the post was the platform style converse. If you read my twitter or facebook or tumblr, you know I've been lusting after these for some time now. They kill my feet like no other shoes, but they are totally and utterly worth it. But I'm hoping that they get more comfortable in time, I've only had them for three days but I'm so impatient. Now that I have them in white, I want the other colours. I've got to catch them all! There's something about these shoes that brings out the child in me.

Sugarlips!

I literally screamed when this shirt came in the post. I am a total sucker for pretty shirts and this is no exception! I know I've probably said this before about other shirts, but this one is truly and utterly perfect. It has a lace pocket, a collar, an open back, lace detailing and it buttons down after the open back. As I said, this is a perfect shirt! I got it from Sugarlips, and they are fast becoming one of my favourite online stores. Everything is so pretty on there!

Sorry if this post is a little photo heavy. I finally have a new camera thanks to my very gorgeous and lovely bf , who got it for me for my birthday. But thankfully let me have it a few days early (my birthday is on the 13th) thankyouthankyouthankyou! I had too much fun running around the garden taking a stupid amount of photos in each location but I had to test the camera out hahaha.

Also I made the suspenders that I'm wearing myself!! Seeing as I hardly ever make anything, unless cutting up some jeans into shorts count?! I am ridiculously proud of myself. Hahaha, my best friend Maya, asked me how I made them and I replied with "magic", ha, if only. Can you imagine it?!

Pearls

 I don't tend to do a lot of online shopping, preferring to go out and look at clothing in person. But, still the internet is a wonderful place in which to find new places to shop. The other week I looked in my inbox to find a lovely email from Maria from Oasap, asking whether I would like to take partner up with them. At first I was a little apprehensive, I don't want to be one of those bloggers who are clearly selling something for another company and are trying to hide that fact that they are so. I'm very selective about putting any advertisement on my blog, at the moment I only have three and they are only there as I would and have shopped from there before. But after looking through the shop, I realized I would wear nearly everything!

So I chose two things; the ultra cute denim shirt and a pair of over the knee pastel pink fishnet socks. The denim shirt is so cute, that when it arrived it made me squeal over how cute it was. For me, the best thing about it is the pearls that decorate the collar and I'm a sucker for adorable collars. The socks are so pretty, I'm in love with pastel colours right now, and these the perfect colour. Haha reminds me of candy.
