Woop!

Hi *waves*. First of all I want to say I HAVE FORTY FOLLOWERS *WOOP*. Thank you to all that follow and comment this blog, it makes me very happy to see I'm not just writing to myself.

Second of all, its nearly the weekend ahhhhhhhhhhh. I can't wait, I'm getting sick of waking up at half six every morning and feeling ridiculously cold. Summer hurry up!

Anddd last of all, here is the story of my corset. I found it one day on ebay, for a measly price, was really happy. Waiting for it in the post everyday, getting super excited when the stuff comes through the letter box and then finally it arrives. Wa-hey. Only for me to try it on and hate it. Now hear me out, it squished me chest making it look really funny and then I didn't like the colour. Grrrrrrrrrr. But after months of it sitting somewhere in my closet, I drag it out, trying to think what to pair it with. Now I'm thinking " I'm an idiot" for not liking it when I got it. But now I love it.

Have a nice weekend lovelies.

Boo!

Heyyyy. I went for an open day at Channel Four yesterday and it was amazing. Got to meet people from all of the departments and got to find out more about what they do there, it was really interesting. I especially enjoyed the scriptwriting masterclass, it was fun fun fun. Though this was just a taster day, there were over 100 students and only 80 will get to do work epxperience. Grrrrrrr, I hope I'm one of those lucky 80.

After I was finished there, I met up with Birthday Girl India, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! We went shopping and I got these tights and shoes, gahhhh! Look at the shoes! Look at them! Haha aren't they gorgeous? I was so happy I got them on sale hihi.

Enjoy the rest of your week peeps :)

In France

Heyyyyy. So yesterday I went to Lille with Brian and his parents. It was a lot of fun but we didn't stay too long, just one night. But we fitted a lot in that one day. We went shopping, walked about, took a few pictures and ate lots of yummy food hihi.
But also before we headed back to the hotel Brian and I went on the huge ferris wheel thats in one of the main square. The ferris wheel was so BIG! I'm scared of heights and knew I was mad suggesting to go on it. When the wheel started to move I screamed like a little girl haha, not my finest moment. My hand it still very sore from where I was holding on to the bar haha. I would've felt a lot safer if there was some kind of seatbelt. Grrrr. Anywayyy how was your weekend?

When I was shopping in Lille, I didn't find much. I found it funny that the only shops I brought anything from was shops that I could find here. But all the shops were stuck in winter mode, so only sold the same thing in the same colours. But I found this skirt, hihi, yes its another tutu-esque skirt. I wonder how many I have now hmmmm. Though this one is very girly and romantic. It came from the children's section in H&M, I just managed to fit in it. The snow is gone!! Hurrah! The weather is quite warm now, which is soooo nice. Bye Bye cold weather (I hope).

Have a nice week.

Snow week

Helllo, how's life where you are? Snow has hit London and we've been having a snow week all week. I'm not complaining though, love the snow and it means no college for me.

I still have the never ending cold :( it really won't go away. Though as my throat is all weird and I cough every few minutes my voice sounds really funny, I think I'm quite close to sounding like something out of sesame street.

I decided to brave the snow and go shopping with my sister. Went into H&M to look at the sales and only found some leggings. Though found this dress in the non sale stuff. This dress screamed at me to buy it, poofy shoulders and velvet and black is a perfect combination. Now I finally have a LBD.

The ring, I adore as it's big and shiny. With things like this I become like a little child.

Thanks for the comments of wishing me well. Hope you guys have a good week.

2010

Hello 2010. So here is my first post of the year :) Did your year get off to a good start? Mine did, I spent it with the bf and did the whole kiss at midnight thing, heehee. I've always wanted to do it and now I have, one more thing to cross off on my mental list of things I need to do. Did you see the fireworks that went off at the london eye? I did, even though I wasn't there, I saw it on tv. Wow. Hahaha they really went out on one this time. I think it was seven minutes it lasted, ridiculous but it looked great.
Right now I'm ill and have been for a few days now, grrrrrrrrr. Haha ah well *sigh*.  Anywaayyy on to happier things. Here are my sequin harem pants. What do you think? I love them, they're so sparkly and comfy. I got them in the sale, which is lucky cos they are really similar to the ones I wanted in H&M and didn't want to buy it from there as I felt they were overpriced for an item that I'm only going to wear a handful of times, though I'm going to see if I can wear them to college haha. Cue the weird stares.

Hope you have a good week.

Carmen.
