2015

Happy New Year everyone :) 2015.....it's crazy to think that it felt like only yesterday that I was typing last year's new year post. Time really does fly when you're having fun. I didn't do anything big to celebrate the new year, having worked nearly everyday between before Christmas and now, a quiet night in was in order. It was really nice and relaxing to watch the fireworks on tv with Brian - of course we did the obligatory kiss at midnight - and drink a big mug of hot chocolate!
I didn't wear anything special, unless like me you count pyjamas as something special. However, if I did go out I would have worn this. I wore this to the end of show party for the musical I was a part of a few weeks ago :) There's something glamorous about showing just a little skin, flare trousers and a flash of gold. Lately I've been really into playing with 70's silhouettes and textures :)

I really enjoyed writing a list of accomplishments that I achieved in the previous year that I wrote last year so I thought I would do it again! Here's a list of things I've achieved in 2014:

  • Celebrated my 7th year anniversary
  • Took part in a musical and sang + danced in public and loved it
  • Quit a job that was only making me unhappy
  • Rescued a tiny kitten and then adopted her
  • Rode a stupidly scary rollercoaster
  • Passed my second year of Japanese and entered my third

It isn't a huge list but nonetheless a list I'm proud of :) I can't have a list of accomplishments without a list to aspire to. Here's what I want to accomplish in 2015:

  • Perform More - take part in more plays and films
  • Take more acting classes
  • Finally go rock climbing - I say this every year aha
  • See more of the World
  • Blog at least once a week
  • Post on youtube at least once a week
  • Take up dancing
  • Become stronger & more toned
  • To incorporate more healthier eating into my lifestyle

A few of them are typical of these sort of lists but I put them there for a reason. Lately I've been finding that if I write lists like these down, I'm more likely to achieve them. Probably because they hold me accountable but is also there as a reminder. I can be a tad bit forgetful. What are your goals for this year? Did you make a similar list? I would love to hear about it in the comments below :)

What I'm wearing: Jumper |   H&M    Body Chain |   ASOS    Bracelet |   H&M   Trousers|   H&M Shoes |   Deandri

  1. Your trousers are divine. I think this must be one of the most amazing outfits I've ever seen - little bit obsessed over here! I'm also rather glad it wasn't just me that spent NYE in my pyjamas. I actually missed it because I was getting out of the bath which is pretty shameful haha! x

    1. Thank you for your lovely words :) Pyjamas are the best - ahaha I nearly did the same thing. For some reason I thought 11.45 on NYE was a perfectly good time to take a shower. xx
